Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) is a fully Chartered Institute established through a Legislative Act of the Sindh Assembly (Sindh Act No. XI of 1995) and is approved and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, as a degree granting institution. SZABIST has campuses in Karachi, Islamabad, Larkana, Hydrabad and Dubai (UAE). SZABIST is a registered member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), Paris; Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London; Federation of the Universities of Islamic World (FUIW) Rabat; Asia University Federation (AUF), Seoul; the Association of SAARC Universities (ASU) and accredited member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Businesses (AACSB), Singapore.

SZABIST has been organizing bi-annual National Research Conferences (NRCs) since 2002. In May, 2011 we had 17th NRC in which about 80 research papers were presented from all over Pakistan in Management, Social Sciences, Economics and Computing.  Building upon our experience of 17 NRCs, we are holding a multidisciplinary international conference on December 16-17 2011 in collaboration with the Faculty of Administrative and Management Sciences, University of Karachi.

This will be a comprehensive conference focused on the four interdisciplinary subjects: Management, Social Sciences, Economics and Computing. Our Conference provides an opportunity to the students, academics and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in the areas of Management, Social Sciences, Economics, and Computing.

The objective of this conference is to bring together the researchers from academia and industry as well as practitioners to share ideas, challenges and solutions relating to the multifaceted aspects of Management, Social Sciences, Economics and Computing.
